Increasing the shareability of your content on social media

It’s a lesson we’re all taught when growing up: share and share alike. Things are no different in adult life. We’re all encouraged to share our wealth – be that time, generosity or, in our industry’s case, content. However in the social media game, it’s not quite as easy as politely asking someone to share your content, or even offering them a candy-based bribe for doing so (my 8-year-old self would probably have shared your blog for a Sherbet Fountain…).

People will only share your content if they find it engaging and valuable – whether that’s because it made them laugh, taught them something new or provided a solution. So, how can you increase the shareability of your brand’s content? Take a look at our latest infographic on the matter to pick up some handy tips…

  1. ‘People will only share your content if they find it engaging and valuable – whether that’s because it made them laugh, taught them something new or provided a solution.’ this is very true, of my personal experiences, I tend to only share what catches my attention whether it be through wording or through graphics, once they have my attention I will be likely to investigate, lastly if it has had any impact or importance to me then I would share. :)

    • Hi Jonny!

Thanks for your comment and glad we hit the nail on the head for you. For all of us, our time is too precious to be spent reading through or sharing something that has no value, so I totally agree!

      All the best
